Help with Ecu based boost control

Jdm Evo 8 FQ300

GM 3 bar map
Grim speed boost control solenoid (3 port)

I have dialed in my base wastegate duty cycles and have it set close to were I want it (22-23psi) through out rev range. I have BEC zeroed out and all is good

When i try to put values back into the BEC it starts pulling WGDC big time!!!

Using psi based control 96260009 dma/livemap

Have logs but not sure how to post them here

Check the scaling on the boost adder and on the desired boost table. Make sure the scaling are setup for the sensor your using.

Boost adder is psia16 GM3barmap
desired boost is psia8 GM3barmap

Is this my problem?

also with the desired boost i cant set to higher than 22.3psi so i have to have my adder at 14.7 (my atsmospheric press) +10 (offset to get higher desired boost) =24.7

Can i set both scalings to psia16 GM3barmap to get the higher boost?

Thanks
Phil

Those scalings are correct.

But your desired boost tabled should go to 24.5/.7

Email me your ROM and .xml file and Ill check it all out. See If I can find your issue.

jay@boostedtuning.com

Also, send me one of the logs from when you had correction turned off, and one of the logs where it was turned on, and pulled WGDC big time.

I would suggest unless you suffer big variations in altitude or temperature, just run on the waste gate duty. The other thing would be if you get a large over boost in 5th against the lower gears. I got really board of trying to get the error correction to do anything useful and found hardly any change in target boost. I've moved to a V7 ROM where the gear dependant control is much more helpful.
