Really lean ?

****SOLVED****

When I thought I was making a good BASE map I actually maxed my Injectors so much that the ECU Compensated for it and pulled the injector duty cycle back to a safe level.

I just put the stock tephra map back on and It was rich like its supposed to be.

Hello ,

So I installed some new cams and wanted to re-tune my car. I only had tactrix cables to tune with at first while I was waiting on getting my wide band.

I had just a Stock tephra v7 with the timing pulled back like 4*

I did like 6 pulls and only had like 1 count of knock a couple times. So I thought it was fine to leave it there while I wait for my wideband.

So I got my wideband an installed it without the logging portion connected to anything. I do a wot 3rd gear on an on ramp to see where I was at and to my surprise I was at 12.5:1 !!! So I get off the freeway and click my map back 1.0 throughout my map did a pull and same thing , 12.5:1. I was like wtf and pulled the map and set it to 7.4 the richest it would go. Then I I did another pull and It went to 13 @ 4500 and then jumped to 10.8 @ 6k.

I logged my IDC and was only at 75%@ 6200 and 237 load couple counts of low knock.

Q: do you think its my wideband or did I set up my tephra wrong somehow?

Set up:
Evo IX
Full injen intake
Full 3" w/o cat
Hks 272's
Stock injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
19psi

I will post pics of everything later tonight. Sorry for my newbsness i'm just really confused lol.

What Wideband do you have? Also you should really start logging AFR so that you can go back and reference your lean and rich spots.

I was planning on logging my afr's I had just installed it and didn't have a data logging cable. I will be making one tonight or tomorrow.

I have a aem uego. And I am idleing at 15.7-9 instead of 14's .

Im going to flash back to a stock map real quick to see what happens .

You can just connect to the rear o2 since you are running a tephra modded rom. Then you would not have to make a serial cable to log. I have mine this way and it is spot on.
