Exclamation High knock count on idle revving *log inside*

Any suggestions why can it be such high numbers ?

Is your downpipe rattling against the transfer case?

The normal non catastrophic list-

Lifters arent bled right
exhaust rattles
balance shaft delete
wrong plugs
bad knock sensor

Catastrophic-

Rod bearings
Main bearings (can check this vs oil pressure)
Piston slap


Log knock voltage as well.

I was getting strange numbers when my knock sensor wasn't connected. May want to check that.

I have found through my own tuning, that map smoothing is quite important for idle revving. Its one of hte more tedious parts to tune IMHO and I still dont have it right. Depending how hard you press the pedal, and how hard you lift.. just my 2 cents

^ shouldn't happen if you bought a downpipe that was designed for acd equipped cars.

My knock light comes on when I hit the two-step, but not when only revving to 3700ish rpm

Yeah that's prob my problem. I bought the DP from a buddy who sells Evo's and puts them back stock. So I have no clue what brand of if it's for ACD equipped cars.

if its barely touching i would suggest just flattening the dp a bit.
