Innovate Lc-1 issues
recently i installed an innovate Lc-1 with Digital AFR Gauge... The gauge reads the afr fine.... when i try to log it in the logworks software provided by Innovate... i get a error saying something about LM-1 and 9v battery (yes the ignition is on ACC)? It reads the Serial Com port correctly that i have attached to my Lc-1....
My second issue is evoscan logging the afr... again as i stated before the gauge is reading the AFR without any error indications.... and from eyeballing it under boost... idle.. etc it appears to be within the ball park of where it should be.... I am running the latest version of evoscan... I checked the WBD boxes in Evoscan and made sure its on Innovate LC-1.. the COM port is the correct port its hooked into (COM 6 as i used and adapter from the LC-1 15 pin out to USB Port and all the drivers are installed and "working properly" according to windows).... When i log under the "external wideband a/f ratio (WBD)" box i get a value of 0.... MY question i guess is if the LC-1 is not hooked up correctly how am i getting readings from the Gauge.. but neither of the Software programs to Log it??

im too terrified to make any adjustments in my timing maps without knowing what my wideband 02 is... its like going back to the old dsm days.. when you jsut went off of 02 voltage... FML

I would recommend logging via the ECU instead. It's a much cleaner and more reliable setup.
