Today I tried loading up my current map using the tactrix 1.3. In the process I am trying to get my map to send to my tuner and it connects fine then says some thing about unable to load rom image dimensions and gives me 3 choices I will try and get my buddy to post the picture he took. Some help would be grateful

 

Check your Romdatta and make sure the Rom Definition is there. I know what you are talking about what that means is that the Romdatta for the current rom is missing if you are useing tephra you need to get the Tephra Romdatta file and add it to the folder within the OpenEcu folder.

 

We are using evoscan. Do u know where I can get it. The only weird thing is that we can load my buddies map up but not mine. Also his is a stock map

 

EvoScan is for Logging Ecu Flash is for the Roms but when you look in the folders under program files you will see its called OpenEcu then go through the settings. also what ROM/Map is you or your buddy on that wont load. I need the MAP Number and I will see if I have it and you can PM me and shoot me a email where I can send it. Here are the steps. Shoot email me if you need anything else.

We are trying to copy his tune and email to his tuning buddy to tweak it. That was the messg the poped up when i tried to Load it. Thanks guys

 

Means your missing the right rommetadata code. What are you running? Tephra? If so look up tephra on the boards he has a thread with all the xml codes it will fix it. Had to do it to help another member here so we could tweak his rom.

 

I had the same problem last week, my tuner sent me a ROM and it wouldnt load no matter what I tried. We came to the conclusion that the ROM must have somehow got damaged or corrupted, he just sent the file again and everything was great. it loaded no problem

 

That was the other thing i was going to mention if the rom was downloaded from a Email or other source its very possiable that the who file was not there.
