stock MDP sensor formula

Hey, i'm trying to get a proper vacuum reading from the stock 1 bar MDP sensor on an evo 9 but the numbers i'm seeing are wayy off from what my zeitronix is reading.

I'm using the following formula in evoscan.

0.36*0.19347*x - 14.5

I see about 6psi of vacuum at idle on the MDP sensor via evoscan while the zeitronix shows 13 psi of vacuum.

I'm just wonder if my oem MDP sensor is malfunctioning or if my formula is incorrect.

can someone with a stock map sensor try out the formula above and compare vacuum readings to their boost gauge?

Where did you come up with that formula? Here's the formula that comes with evoscan for the stock MDP sensor.

0.19348*x

I just took a look in evoscan, are you talking about logging the boost(MDP) or the jdm map because the MDP is 0.19348*x and the Jdm map is 0.19347*x-14.5 (at least that is how it comes)

bump.

can someone that still has their oem MDP sensor try this formula in evoscan and see if it matches up with the vacuum readings from your boost gauge?

0.36*0.19347*x - 14.5

Im almost positive that the default "MDP" formula in evoscan is correct. Or at least really close, depending on altitude....should be 0.19348*x

the stock formula in evoscan gives a positive psi reading at idle. Its suppose to be reading vacuum.
