Injectors cold start

Ok sorry if this is a noobish question. I just installed my FIC 850 injectors. Mods on my car are Works TR340 kit ets licp, ETS 3.5 intercooler. MBC, HKS intake. walboro 255. I have a custom tune ...

My question is ever since i put the injectors in at cold start seems to take a while to turn the car over almost like they the injectors are not primed. Is this normal? I have some more tuning to fine tune the car to do but need to wait to get it on teh dyno. Sick of street tuning.. Let me know your thoughts. I can post my tune if needed. Thanks.

I have an 06 Evo IX MR

I'm guessing you've already scaled the injectors properly?

Not your injector latencies, I'm talking about the fuel trims that you log with evoscan.

Don't need to go out and drive if you haven't reflashed your car in a little while; just turn the key to "on" without starting the car, and check "log to screen" in evoscan. You'll see your trims without having to st art the car.

Does it help the start if you crack the throttle open while starting it?

Fuel trim Low (LTFT) -0.78125
Fuel trim Mid (LTFT) -1.7578125

does that help?

If it helps, there's too much fuel at startup.

no it doesn't because those are good values, anything between +-5% is "acceptable"
and because of the limitations (can't really choose your values in the ecu, it jumps from one to another) you can't get +-0% which would be ideal

I had the same problem recently, it's like my battery was dead and I had to accelerate to get it started, but then at that time my fuel trims where like -8.0 +12.5 so for me that was the injector scaling/latencies that were wrong.
Now that I corrected the injectior values to +0.1 +1.08 my problem is gone.
