HELP tuning! low throttle knock
ok for starting out my new mods:
GSC S1 cams
PTE 680 injectors
ARP headstuds
and a fresh rebuilt motor.
I have been working on V7 ROM ID 94170715
I am getting alot of knock at random times during light throttle pulls
70-170 load
2900-4000RPMs
it could be from -2.000-10.000PSI
I have tryed turning down the timing but it seems like most of the time its still running in closed loop
i have tryed to richen up the A/Fs droping timing and making sure everything is smooth ect.
i want to think its false knock.
but i want some advice on what else i should look at.
if it is flase knock how do i get rid of it?
i have a log attached if it works.
EDIT i tryed attaching a new log.

make yourself some knock cans (headphones) only way to tell if its false or not.

or ......... if your pulling timing and the knock isn't going away, its probably false. I would either tune it out (if possible) or adjust the knock tables to keep it from registering with the ecu. If its just 1 or 2 counts here and there and you can't really nail it down, you might just live with it.

It is most likely false knock if the knock is sporadic... pulling timing, smoothing out the area where it is knocking, trying a high octane fuel, and det cans are some ways to detect false knock.
If you need some help PM ME.
