Cool, thank you. I went back to that thread and there was a xml file uploaded which I put into my evo rommetadata folder and I now have the 2005 JDM Evo 9 in the inherit list.

This is the info I get now, still haven't managed to open the tables.

on the 9 and below just use ecu unlocker in the back ground its only the 10's that have to be benched

You just need to download the ecu unlocker program attached to this thread

Run that program in the background then start your car (and leave it running) and read the ecu with ecuflash. Your car will turn off (on it's own) and the read will begin.

Try this and post again letting us know if it worked or not. I have an ecutek tune on my ix as well and this did the trick for me.
