Openport 2.0 windows 7 error help!!
I have searched the forum with the forum search tool and google and I can not solve my issue I am having.
I would really really like some help as I am ready to punch myself several times in frustration lol.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled ecuflash and the drivers, I can use the 1.3u cable with no issues.
I have tried to use the 2.0 on two computer with windows 7.
I am not using a sd card in the 2.0 idk if that matters.
When I try to communicate with the ecu in anyway all I get is a error saying
J2534 error [ERR_TIMEOUT]
J2534 error [ERR_TIMEOUT]
Has anyone else ran into this with windows 7?
I do not have a computer with any older version of windows to try unfortunatley.
any help would be great!
Also, if you run windows 7 and the open port 2.0 can you comment so I can confirm it works for others. Thank you.

I had this exact same problem even though the one that I had was brand new. Either the reflash connector or the stereo cable that it uses to connect to the 2.0 is bad. Contact Tactrix by phone or email and they should send you out a new one free of charge. The may want you to test it with an multimeter first but I almost gaurantee that's what the problem is.
