Androids are micro USB , so you would need an adaptor. I'm guessing a OBD2 bluetooth dongle is in order.

Bluetooth dongle will work, but may not support the MUT protocol and speed. I already was working on an app that worked fine with MUT requests with a bluetooth dongle on Android, but the speeds were OBD-II basically.

I would be interested in how Hamish implemented and whether bluetooth was used and full MUT speed was obtained.

75% of "Android Tablets" or 75% of tablet "PC"? Assuming you mean PC as very few PDA tablets use a full USB, the Thrive, or the Asus transformer but the transformer only has it if you are using the keyboard dock. And for resolution of favorite, Asus transformer is 1280x800 and so is the thrive and many others. so i guess a good focus is the WXGA resolution.

EvoScan OpenPort cables will be supported first, USB cables contain the very fastest logging speeds, I want the fastest bluetooth is too slow in my opinion, but I will support it also as a followup release It will support the following cables in priority order:

EvoScan OpenPort 1.3D/R/U (Made by EvoScan)
EvoScan OpenPort 2.0 (Tactrix cable)
EvoScan OpenPort 2.0D (Made by EvoScan for EvoX and 2008+ OBDII CAN datalogging)
EvoScan Bluetooth 1.5D (all protocols, and bluetooth based, but modified for faster Logging and Mitsubishi specific pins)

AFR you'd need the wideband wired into the ECU.
Boost you'd need an aftermarket MAP sensor
Water temp comes directly from the ECU so no problem there
oil press/temp you'd need sensors connected to the ECU I imagine. I'm not aware of any ways to do that.
