Just noticed this - hope it's not just for the Evo X...
Any word? I picked up 'android' here and there searching the forum but nothing specific enough. I wonder if some adapter can be used for the tactrix 1.3 to a micro usb or usb adapter? I searched the market and evoscan wasn't there though. Logging through the phone is gonna be the future, so tired of dragging my laptop along, and half the time I wanna log something of course I don't have the computer with me. The tactrix cable is always in the car, as well as my phone...

Logging with the tactrix cable through a microUSB adapter is currently not possible since there is no USB host access for developers.

What do the Penguin developers make of this? I don't have an Android device so not really a go-er for me to test.

new 1280x800 screenshot added. Thanks to the beta testers helping this week. still quite a few gauge alignment bugs to fix up. and the app gets stuck looking for gauge template when the correct screen resolution can't be found in the template folder. I have to create some more native resolution gauge screens, for both widescreen and portrait style.
This gauge template comes out a little misaligned in the evoscan andriod app, but I'm working on it. its a nice example of a 1280x800 gauge layout for Android. Thanks Nicholas, for providing beta tester support for this one.

Awesome, i cant wait for this to be released. I sent in a ticket for beta testing, never heard back. Whats the connection needed to the ecu to use this? I saw in some of the screen shots you were using bluetooth.

How feasible would this be with an Android powered phone? Is there enough processor/ram in these phones to give enough resolution to tune from? Obviously, all Id be interested in is the data. I dont need the fancy gauges and probably wouldnt be able to see them anyways.
