Very quick ECUFlash question

I've pulled my ROM from my vehicle (Evo 9 GT Wagon), I want to alter the stationery rev limit (currently 7969).

The XML that I'm using is a bit bitsy but I'm fairly confident the stationery rev limit address is accurate as the current setting is at where mitsi sets it to be disabled (usually at 5500 -enabled, or 7969 - disabled depending on model).

I intend to change only the stationery rev limit and reflash. Are there any risks imposed with what I'm doing?

(Sorry if it sounds like a lame question, dropped 30K on this car and I'm probably just being paranoid).

Yes you are correct. Change to the value you'd like.

So if I just change that value there's no obvious big risks being taken? (sorry, a little bit OCD)

Edit: apart from the obvious risks of ecu flashing
