Questions on 3d VE map, cold start, idle hang, live map?
Hi All,
Ive got a few questions about all the ECU mods that the ECU gods on here do. I hope they are simple! Ive done hours of searching but haven't found any solid answers.
I'm currently using tephra v7 - SD 88590715 rom.
Is there a way to get a 3D VE map for this rom? how?
I'm currently only using the 2D table that came with the SD rom, this is causing me some cold start-to-warm up fueling issues and a richer then necessary idle. After a cold start, as the car warms up and makes its CL/OL change over it wants to go very, very lean. I was only able to fix this by commanding more fuel, however it looks like this caused the car to idle rich.
From my reading, I know the idle hang (itll sit at ~1200rpm forever) is something that most people fight or deal with, this rich condition at idle cant be helping me.
Is there any other fix for this fast idle? Ive got the DeFco tables dialed in so it goes lean when i let off and ive played with the idle stepper but nothing seems to fix the root of the issue.
also, Ive got the newest evoscan however when i'm driving around the live map tracer doesn't seem to do ****. is there something wrong with my set up? or this a known issue?
being able to watch what cell the car is working out of during cruising and transient driving would be amazing to have!
any information, on any of this would be amazing!
Thanks!
