Altmaps "alt injector latency"?

I see Global fuel maps injector latency and that's all fine and good for MAIN MAP #1. however what about ALTMAP #2? Why isn't there an alternate injector latency for alternate fuels?

Scaling is NOT the answer. The latency for some exotic fuels require a whole new set of offsets for latency in order to target 0-5% STFT at idle and cruise.

What am I missing? Has an alternate injector latency option been established and defined? Or is that something that can be added and patched in?

Actually latency shouldn't change... it is a characteristic of that particular injector... hence why it was never added to alt maps...

+1 for this. Latencies relate to how long the injector takes to open/close. That doesn't change when you use a different fuel, so I don't see why it would be needed.

As above latencies are defined by mechanical characteristics of the injectors and will not change with fuel type. Injector scaling and MAF curve adjustment can get your trims in check.

changing the maf curve will change both maps characteristics at once and that is not what is desired. Looking for additional latency on alcohol fueling. Or an overall altmap latency adder that covers all voltages.

latencies for E85 will work for pump, latencies for pump arn't necessarily the best they can be for E85..

My point exactly. You can end up with stft on one of the two maps that is off under low load. If there were some alternate latencies for 2nd map I could run one for each specific fuel type

reread what I wrote

if you tune your latencies on E85 they will be fine for pump
