Stock AFR what should it be??
I was wondering what a stock Evo 8 AFR should be in WOT. The only mods that I have is 3" turbo-back exhaust with test pipe and an O2 dump. That's it for mods, I'm still boosting 19psi like I was before putting the test pipe and o2 dump. My Afr ratio is pretty much 13.xx during spool up and the it decrease to 12.0-12.3 all the way till 7000rpm. I haven't touch the map at all. I bought the car completely stock, so this AFR seems to lean for pump gas. Does anyone knows what a stock Evo should be as far as AFR goes? By the way I only get max of 2 counts of knock.

I just took a look at the first log I did on my E9, and that was stock ECU and 3"exhaust, and it is something like 10.8 - 10.5 at WOT above 5000 rpm..

Yeah my IX MR was around 10.5~10.8 once I fixed the crappy vacuum line tee that the previous owner put in the fuel pressure regulator line for the boost gauge. You may want to check that...if you are bleeding pressure off the FPR input then the FPR isnt compensating for the manifold pressure and ECU isnt going to get the flow it thinks it is.
Edit: Oh...and with leanspool off...maybe my numbers are no help to you...

My guess is that the car had been tuned. And then when you opened up the exhaust it increased air flow and AFRs are now a bit lean.
If you want to be safe, simply increase the entire fuel map a few clicks until you are hitting 11.0:1 AFR at 6K rpm. That will at least hold you over until you can add the rest of your mods and then get tuned.

Today checked the 3 relays for the fuel pump to make sure they were good and they checked fine. I pulled the fuel pump housing to see if I had an aftermarket pump since when they start going bad they don't supply enough fuel up top and it was still the stock one. I ran a new vacuum hose from the intake manifold straight to the FPR eliminating the FPR solenoid and I still have the same problem. I just pulled some logs at idle and my LTFL low is at +8.2.

What boost are you using, stock WG and actuator and 2 port bleeder system, or you up on the 3-port and ECU based? You running Tephra 5 or 7?
CHeck the Periphery001 .... ? DIsable lean spool at the bottom of the table.
UPGRADE TO WALBRO MANDATORY in YOUR FUTURE! Log with stocker for now.
Download Merlins guide...
Check the scaling of injectors, and watch the duty cycles.
Following the injector scaling method in merlins guide, which they should be very close already, take it into 120 load or slight boost, and check how close the AFR's are to the Fuel Map, and what your guage vs. log states...
WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THIS TO DIAL IN AFR"S map vs. log, we want a sample log of what it does durning spool to about 3.5k and let off.
Post that Log. Thank you.

Im using the stock boost solenoid, stock wastegate and the stock rom with stock settings. The only mods that I have is 3" turbo-back exhaust with test pipe and an O2 dump everything else is stock. I found the problem, it was the fuel pump. I had another stock fuel pump laying around and decided to swap them out. Im going to order a Deatschwerks fuel pump tonight. Thanks to all for the help
