You need to make a copy of your ROM file wherever you are keeping it and paste it into My Documents->EvoScan->ROMS folder and ...->rommedata->mitsubishi->evo folder, then reload evoscan and select ROM file from ...->rommedata->mitsubishi->evo folder.

I don't understand why this bug isn't fixed yet, as well as other bugs I am getting frequently...

ok i'll post up a few more pics so you can guide me step by step,
first i opened ecuflash>folder copied my rom, then i pasted that in My Documents->EvoScan->ROMS folder and then >rommedata->mitsubishi->evo folder

when i reload evoscan, there is no option to select my new rom?

EvoScan uses the ECUFlash rommetadata folder to get the correct XMLs to use for the program. what you need to do in the map tracer window is right click 'panel #3'. Click the first option 'Load ROM...'. find and open your ROM. EvoScan should automatically load the correct XMLs and maps as per the ROM file.

cheers

thanks alot dude! it worked! just one more thing, now my load and rpm are correct but why does my timing map in ecuflash and map tracer differ?

for example i have 7 degrees of timing at idle but in the map tracer it shows 5, and if you look at the whole map its diffrent?

again, right click panel #3 and select the correct map to display. looks like you are showing the low octane timing map possibly.

cheers

I don't post much here but myself and a buddy are having exact same issue with the map tracer's load and rpm not showing correctly. I have copied the ROM file to the folder, but still showing random rpm/load numbers that make no sense. Is there something else possibly missing from this that it is not showing properly in map tracer?

Have you loaded ROM file (that one pasted in ecuflash folder) in evoscan maptracer?

Everything must be done in these steps:
1) copy paste rom file in ecuflash->rommedata->mitsubishi->evo
2) load that rom file in maptracer with right mouse button
3) check which map is selected

I got it working. The ROM I am using has another XML it uses so had to add that to the folder, everything is good now. This version kicks ***, absolutely enjoying it!
