How to disable P0011 DTC? Rom# 88590015

I put a set of gsc S'2 cams in my friends 9 and now im getting a p0011 dtc. I checked the cam timing, reluctor wheel position and they are dead on. mivec is functioning according the evoscan and i dont get the p0011 consistantly. I also tried lowering the mivec table some and still sets dtc.

I have searched everywhere and cant find how to disable this dtc but i see many people have this problem. Can someone help me?

Anyone? I know I'm not the only one with this problem.

I have only seen this once in my life and it ended up being a coked and restricted oil feed line the mivec solenoid.

I can double check more carefully later, but I have been tuning mivec and experimenting a lot lately to learn the system by trial and error. One thing I learned is that I have Kelford 272s with springs and no cell from day one, which includes tons of tuning pulls and two hard track days. Nothing.

I am now fiddling with the mivec and working on trying to build TQ in my setup and advance the idle, pre spool, and spool areas pretty aggressively and I got that cell. No other changes to the car at all. That cell came from daily driving and no pulls either. So, my vote is that the cams are requiring you look at the mivec map if its not stock from before. I would as a test to disprove this notion, to load the stock mivec map, and then the JDM RS and see if the cell returns persistently or not. Of course other mods and tuning had an impact, but that is my quick guess.

Yes it only sets at low load... I hate to retard the came at low load to get the cel to go away because then I'm loosing torque and spool.

You could try some extreme values just to prove or disprove the relationship of the intake cam advance via the mivec.

What I really need is the threshold table for this dtc. Then maybe I could raise it in the problem area and get the dtc pass. Anyone know how to do such a thing?
