Map switching hardware: IC voltage regulator?

Has anyone used a IC Voltage regulator to supply the proper voltage to the 0F? Seems like this would be the least complicated way to do it. my JOT harness seems to have a fault somewhere. I dont wish to have the LED in the circuit to KISS.

If you want to send it back to me, I can test it and do any necessary repairs for you? I can remove the LED for you while its here too.

I can do that, it stopped working in the sprig sometime and it always measured voltage out but tonight I noticed it dimly lighting the led when off and emitting 2.5v while off and 0b when on
