Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs, need help

Today I replaced my stock boost solenoid with the Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs. after setting my WGDC to 50 across the board, I took it out for a test drive. Everything seems to be working fine other than the fact that I'm hitting only a max of 7psi. Previously I was hitting a max of 9psi on the stock solenoid, which lead me to think that it was dead.

I've zeroed out the Boost Error correction, and have increased the WGDC to 70, still with nothing over 7psi...

I'm 99% sure I hooked up all the vacuum lines correctly, as per their diagram so I imagine my problem doesn't stem from that. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any one have any ideas.

thanks
-Steve

Your boost limit rpm looks jacked.

His ROM ID is 94170015 and scaling or part of xml is not missing, it's just incorrect. There is a bug in Ecuflash. He needs to change RPM adress to 6dd2, as written in this topic:

Yes, it helps. There are few things you need to try:
1) Increase your boost control load offset from 60% to 100%.
2) Set boost desired engine load to 159.4% (max) across all RPM range
3) Make a test drive, if needed adjust max wastegate duty.

This is NOT how you setup ECU boost.

And OP, I answer your question in the other thread. Here it is again.

You most likely have a mechanical problem.

On the stock solenoid you should have hit 16-19. Even on just the stock wastegate you should hit 11-13.

You may have a blown turbo or major exhaust leak or something.

Although I agree he should check for a boost leak.

It may "work" but thats not how to CORRECTLY setup ECU boost. I know, I wrote the how-to's on ECU boost. Plus i have tuned ones of cars on ECU Boost.

Thanks for the replies guys! I corrected the RPM on the boost limit table, Just need to find some time to mess around with it all.

Boosted tuning, I did see the other post. Thanks, Its kind of my fear that the turbo is going.

A little more background on the boost. When I first bought the car (about 2 years ago) it was pressing about 18psi. About half a year or so ago it stepped down to 13psi, and now recently 9psi until I changed out the stock solenoid and now I'm hitting 7-8psi. I did a bit of research and did find that on the wastegate I should be hitting around 11psi so that's where I had thought it could be the bcs.

I'll have to do a boost leak check at some point, But i'm also starting to think its the turbo. Unfortunately, that's not exactly in the budget

Its not the correct way to setup ECU boost. Im not gonna sit here and argue with you, so you can think whatever you want, but your doing it WRONG.
