Just got evoscan and tactrix 1.3. It reads all "ticked" items except for knocksum and AEM WB, but that I'm still troubleshooting. Both of them show blank/0 the whole time I was logging. For knocksum, did I forget a configuration or setting on Evoscan?

 

Nothing needs to be changed from the default evoscan config to log knocksum. Either you aren't knocking or the knock filters have been numbed down.

 

Blank is different than a zero.. Which is it?

 

blank. The function cell has an "x" while the other function cells (boost, rpm, etc) has math formulas. This is the same for External Wideband. It as if the evoscan is not detecting a knock sensor. However, the Knock voltage is working.

 

Post a screenshot of your Evoscan settings and a log.

 

I'll take a pic when I get home. But is it possible I have no knock at all? Wouldn't the value during live logging be '0' and not blank? Finally, is it possible that the previous owner changed ROM by ecuflash to disable knocksum?

More info, I contacted my tuner (not sure how/what he used to tune) but he said in order for them to tune, the knock had to be working or it goes in to limp mode. So I'm thinking, someone turned it off via ecuflash; I have a bad copy of evoscan; or I truely have no knock and it just shows blank??

 

No knock reads 0, not blank.

It does read "0". Then again, I don't have a external WB hooked up and it reads "0". That why I got confuse. I will still try to take a screenshot.
