Merlin - how are you logging the 401702 ACD parameters?

I have not been able to log dynamic values with OP 2.0 and EvoScan v2.9.0100 for the 401702 ROM you posted. Although I can connect to the ACD in EvoScan 2.9, I only see fixed maximum values for any ACD parameters that I select. It looks like an EvoScan 2.9 software problem or maybe a baud rate mismatch.

Sorry for the LOOONG wait, from what I searched I am running the K1 rom . The car doesn't feels like running the K1. I even downloaded (a supposed) k1 rom that is in this thread and they are the same (still i don't know if this is the K1).

Can you please check? I'll attach it here...

And if someone has the real K1 rom for ACD/AYC Evo 7 , can you please share?

Thanks
D

Hello,

I have few questions and I will be grateful for answers.

1. What trigger use in Decel map? "Longitudinal G Sensor" or "Stop Lamp Switch" (brake pedal)? If I'll press together throttle and a little bit brake pedal (will accelerate), what map will used Accel or Decel??

2. ACD THROTTLE Lockup Adder - Decel maps. We have lock only under throttle and it's confused me. In Motec ECU breaking map have lock in all area (attached). Is it 0 lock will be under braking and without throttle?

Thanks for any help.

The ACD does supply lockup under braking and it has been my understanding it was triggered from the brake/stop signal input, not the longitudinal G sensor. That sensor plays into other maps.

What happens when you throttle and brake?
Good question and I dont know the answer for a certainty here but I believe the decel maps will still be triggered even though you have lots of throttle.
And, in most tunes, the throttle adder maps are the same for accel and decel.

I hope that helps.

I made some testings with MUT3. I watched at the ACD values (mV) of the solenoid.
For testing ACD THROTTLE Lockup Adder on decel I set 100% lock in lockup decel map.
Value ACD solenoid depended on the longitudinal G sensor load (low G, slow braking - low value ACD solenoid, hight G - hight value ACD solenoid).

The xml definition download links on the first post point to invalid 0 byte files.

Is there an active repository with the acd xml files?

I'd like to give this a go but cannot find any valid xml defs.

Thanks in advance.

Hello. I already asked same question in another topic but see that this topic is more active.
I need to read, change and then write ACD firmware on Evo VIII. I have Tactrix OP2.0 and I want to ask - firmware in ACD can be protected or not? Can I read firmware without fear?
The ACD controller is MR580146.
Thanks!
