Tephra,

I benched the 2010 you sent me and it appears that the service engine soon light just keeps flashing.
-Car started up fine this time
-seems that it's throwing a P0037 code now
-I benched both ways (one was the recovery on laptop and then cycling bench power and hard write while it's out of the car still. Other was one in recovery on bench, and hard write IN the car).
Both yielded the same results.
Map switching does not work either.

Let me know what I can do to get this working please.

Did you disable the alternate flash recovery / bench mode during the second write?

Has anyone tried using different MIVEC tables in the alt maps yet from whats on the main tables?

I am NOT using Hi/Low stuff that's completely untouched/stock from tephra but was attempting to test two different MIVEC maps and when on Alt Map #1 its still following the main MIVEC tables for both intake and exhaust.

Which rom are you running, 2011 or 2013?
Im running the 2011 rom, and works as it should.. I haven't logged Mivec, but "butt dyno" says its working. Im on alt. map 1, I increased over lap a bit in the tip in - partial throttle area, and can definitely feel the change. my alt. map 1 setting are more aggressive then the main map settings. Im also running the low/high gear feature. high = 3rd+
Really liking this feature! altho turns out my high gears can handle the lower gear settings too..

I'm still on the 2013 ROM but I have asked tephra a couple times to get the 2011 ROM since that is what my car actually is. He's been MIA for a while, hopefully he is OK.

I haven't tried the high/low yet but now I wonder if that is what enables the tables to work at all... I'd think if it was defaults it would still work and only follow the high map. I did have both low and high maps set the same on the alt map to ensure that as well. Whenever you change the crossover it goes from 2900 "rpms" for 1st+ to an actual speed setting for 2, 3, 4, and 5th...

I've logged it several times yesterday using stock mivec to feel a power difference also and same result, followed main map mivec tables.

Would you mind setting it to default 1st+ (2900) then set mivec tables in alt map to something very noticeably and log it? I'm curious.

I wonder if there are any news about SST support? Another question - 53050012 ROM has better SST support - is it possible to port it's SST goodies to 0009?

As a matter of fact on another forum guys already helped to port SST tables to 0009. But there is still impression that same settings 0012 drives better. And besides it fits on all 0009-0012 ECU, so I don't see why not to move XMod2 at least to 0012?

I have few guys ready to donate more to see XMod2 working on SST under 0012.

Tephra?

In attachment definitions with extended SST tables for 0009 and 00012 with added Direct Boost and Omni 4 bar sensor support if anyone need them.

So, there have been found SST related table and code in 53050012 that is absent in 53050009. Can we somehow help to get XMod2 on 53050012 since that one works better and obvious upgrade?

<table name="SST Unknown #8" category="SSTdev" address="60f38" type="2D" scaling="uint8">
<table name="RPM" address="61554" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

It's already available, but map changing is not compatible with SST. And 0012 fits any 0009 ECU, so there is no point to do both.
