TephraXMOD V2

TephraXMOD V2
It's alive!
Features:
Altmap
...like before, but with some additions
Fuel Injector scaling
Fuel Map
Timing Map
MIVEC Exhaust
MIVEC Intake
Boost Desired Load
Active WGDC
Passive WGDC
Cranking Enrichment
RevLimits (so you can have a valet map)
.. oh yeah and there are NINE of them now ..
Yes overkill, but hey 9 is a bigger number than 1
Map switching is done using the Cruise +/- buttons (or TPS if you dont have cruise control)
The tacho shows what map you are on (0rpm = normal maps, 1 = 1st altmap ... 9 = last altmap)
To use Cruise switching you gotta hold the cruise ON/OFF button for a few seconds to get into map switching mode. Then you use +/- to go up/down maps, and finally not pressing anything for a few seconds selects that map.
Cruise Switching can be done while driving, TPS cant (for obvious reasons)
If you just want to see what map your on, hold down the Cruise ON/OFF button, it will time out and stay on the same map after a few seconds
KnockCEL
...is back, Slow/Fast like before..
KnockTPSCut
Cuts throttle to the amount you specify when you hit the required knocksum value.. It will hold the TPS at the specified value for the same amount of time KnockCEL would flash for.
High/Low MIVEC maps
Obviously the stock ECU doesn't have this so the Normal Low Gear (disabled by default) maps are stored in teh TephraXMOD V2 category
NLTS
...like from CT9A
Launch Maps
...like from CT9A
FastOBD
Software changes to allow OBD routines to happen 3.5x faster, this means EvoScan + Standalone will log 3.5x faster
If you log using the included Live Tuner app you will get even faster logging, something in the order of 2400 discrete samples per second, which is about about 100 rows per second of everything you ever need to tune..
Live! Tuning
Included with V2 is the capability to change the values in the maps on the fly, this can only be done for some maps, but the list is fairly comprehensive! More details (and probably a separate thread) on Live! Tuning soon!
Which ROMID's are done?
USDM:
52680022 (2008 GSR) - Good to go!
55570006 (2010 GSR) - Good to go!
56890013 (2011 GSR) - Good to go!
58010005 (2012 GSR) - Good to go!
59580004 (2013 GSR) - Good to go!
AUDM/EDM:
53040010 (2009 GSR) - Good to go!
56910009 (2013 GSR) - Good to go!
53050009 (2008 MR) - testing underway!
I will probably work on NEW ROM's (ie SST's) depending on the community requests... It takes about 4 hours to put out a new ROM + testing time, so yeh this will take time
How much for all this goodness?
$50 USD, When you paypal me make sure you include your VIN otherwise I wont be able to setup your ROM correctly
Caveats
The big one - At the moment V2 requires changes to the protected memory areas, ECUFlash wont let you flash these changes unless you are using the ECU Bench method.
Colby@Tactrix has made a BETA version of ECUFlash available which overrides the Bench requirement!
VIN Protection - Each ROM is encoded with the VIN of the vehicle it has been setup for, this means you have to send your VIN number for me to send you a ROM, it also means if you try and rip the ROM and put it on another car some of the features are disabled..
With RIPNET's (THANKS BUDDY) help I am setting up a FAQ page for Live Tuner, so stay tuned for the URL...

Thank you Tephra...nice to see its out
Is an CVN Fix included?
Would be nice to set the CVN number back to the original Stock Value permanent ( also the Rom ID should be possible to set to stock Value )
I am looking from an Tuner side ...if the AYC Pump fails ( and has Warranty ) and the customer is not able to come back to the shop in Time and could not do an Bench Flash by himself ...
There will be an market for this, will be worth 100$ per car...for professionals...my opinion
@Tephra
If you do not want to answer public, send me an E-Mail...

How does v2 change in terms of fail safe?
I just got done installing my aquamist and routed the white wire. Does that all stay the same?
Can I have multiple maps, but one designated map for failsafe to return to?
Thank you for your service to the community.

V3 will contain FlexFuel, I already have a sensor coming, and have some ideas on how its going to be implemented already...

need an idea for V3?
create a basic rev match feature for GSRs.
calculate current gear using rpm and speed.
if there is a trigger for brakes or clutch depressed (or both), use that to identify and assume a pending downwards rev match.
use current speed to project the new RPM for 1 gear down.
use TPS to hold RPM so when the clutch is re-engaged, perfect rev match!

Does the failsafe always revert back to map 1? I guess can there be more than 2 maps with fail safe like: pump, pump/meth, C16, C16/meth. So map 2 reverts back to 1, but 4 reverts back to 3?
Can you have pump, pump/meth, c16/meth and have map 2 and 3 revert back to 1 during failsafe?
Sounds more complicated than it is. I have been waiting for V2. This is very exciting for our platform.
