Can't read stock ROM using ECUFlash (noob)
Hey guys I just got my tuning stuff installed and working with Beeble to tune.
Having some trouble getting started at the moment.
Car: 2011 MR (SST)
Mods: KN Intake + custom catback (Grimmspeed 3 port not installed yet)
AEM UEGO wideband O2 on stock downpipe.
Downloaded ECUFlash (latest version)
Plugged in open port 2.0 cable and installed drivers.
Opened ecuflash and clicked "Read Ecu", turned key to "on", pressed "ok"
Error pops up saying error with ecu reading.
When I bought the car, dealer said it was completely stock. I've found that some people experienced similar situations due to an accessport map on the car. I read that benching the ecu can fix this, but I just want to know if there is something I'm doing wrong, or is an easier fix before I attempt to rip out the ecu.
Thank you very much, and sorry if this is a newb case.
