So I just picked up another Evo, evo 9 to be exact so I installed Ecu Flash and Evo Scan on my laptop. I go to hook everything up and when I try and download the rom it just keeps saying error occurred see log for details. So when I look at the log it says something like no software found or does not match.
I downloaded Tephrav7 and I'm able to make changes to it on the same Ecu Flash but I want to download my stock rom for the Ecu immobilizer codes.

Here's the catch, my friend hooked up his laptop and it worked just find.

I'm running the new beta version of Ecu Flash and my buddy is running the one before it, something like 1.44.3.21 idk exactly which one it was.

I've tried re downloading Ecu Flash multiple different times and still the same thing.

I guess I could try an earlier version of Ecu Flash and hope it works.
It's been awhile since I've used Ecu Flash and I don't think I'm missing any steps, modes are set to DEVELOPER and read from ECU is set to EVO 9/ralliart.
I've also tried to change it to evo 8 for shi*s and giggles.

Any ideas?

 

mines does this with some cars I just read with Evoscan......
