Cant log from Lc-1- a little help needed
Hey guys, I've logged using AEM UEGO but Im helping my cousin out who has a LC-1. Cant get this damn thing to log. I searched on the forums for similar issues and tried some solutions but no luck.
some info.
evoscan v2.7
I plugged the "'stereo " type of plug into the "output"/"input"(tried both), bought a RS232 DB9 to usb plug("prolific plugable usb serial adapter").
In evoscan I changed the wideband to lc-1 and I am able to see the correct com-port. I tried different com-ports yet still cant get it to log. In evoscan I have check marked "external wideband.." like I would with my AEM UEGO.
Tried to play with it a bit but no luck. Am I missing something?

A little confused what you said here
"You need the terminator plug in the output terminal. The line to the rs232 cable goes in the output. "
Do you mean I need a terminator plug that goes to the output ..then that plug goes to the radio style jack to rs232?
The radio style line to the Rs232 goes to the output line that is coming out of the little black box ..thats how I have it setup for now.
Maybe I'll get a better understanding if I see a pic of the terminator plug...anyone have a link or a pic of it?

Here is a terminator plug
I apologize for the confusion. I recently had a nice time trying to get my LC1 to log so I am familiar with it lol. The terminator goes into the input terminal and acts as a ground. The rsr232 line goes into the output. Hope this helps.

Still no luck. So the wideband is wired to the ecu since originally he was going to log through the ecu.
Could that be an issue? He followed these instructions..

Your logging under "WBD" in evoscan with a value of x, correct?
YES- It says External wideband A/F Ratio WDB.
Wide band in the top right hand corner is checked to LC-1 correct?
Yes- I also see the correct com being used. I tried different comports
Software/drivers are correctly installed for the usb/rs232 converter? What usb/rs232 converter are you using?
I am using evoscan 2.7v. The rs232 to usb is a prolific plugable usb serial adapter.

I was able to log this with my AEM UEGO wideband , but the lc-1 wont log..i thought itll be simpler since it comes with the radio jack to rs232 which goes to the black box thingy.

Ok great news..I tinkered with it a bit and after switching com ports its logging yay!!
Worst part is now it's stuck at 7.4..just Bink's 7.4 and don't move from there. I see in evoscan it shows up 7.35 and stays there. I'm guessing either I messed something up while tinkering with it or I need to reset something some how.
You ever ran I to that before?
