New to the tuning game

Hey everyone I'm just getting into the evo tuning game. I have an evo ix that's pretty much stock but have some boltons going on over the winter so I figured I would learn how to do basic tuning myself. I've been reading merlin's introduction to evo tuning and so far I'm really impressed with the capability of the stock Evo ecu. It really gives you alot of freedom. I also see that this community has contributed alot to unlocking and finding all the hex addresses in the various roms.

My question is where else can I go for more information and tips on tuning these cars. I don't plan on replacing a pro tune but I would like to be able to tune for basic mods myself.

Also would like to add. I have a laptop and ecuflash, still need a tactrix cable, evoscan and a wideband sensor. I just want to get a good understanding of the evo ecu before I start getting into it
