Need help with fuel cut [logs/pics inside]
Hey guys. This is driving me crazy. I recently began tuning with e85. I increased the boost (MBC) to around ~26-27 peak and now I seem to be hitting fuel cut a second or two after hitting WOT.
It feels like the car is hitting a brick wall and it's really jarring. I immediately suspected that I was hitting the 320 load limit with the increased boost, but that does not seem to be the case. I'm encountering fuel cut almost every time that I go WOT, and it doesn't seem to have any relationship to load %. sometimes it occurs when the car hits 150 load, but more consistently when it hits 280-290.
Nevertheless, I followed the procedure to increase the load limit as documented by mrfred here:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...nge-638-a.html
No help. Still hitting fuel cut. I made sure that I grabbed the XML for my ROM. I double checked that the settings are correct but I'll post them here for verification anyhow:
Here are a couple of logs with all that items that I thought might be helpful for tracking this down. I know I'm running pretty lean @12.5, I attribute this to the e85 that I put into the car that had been sitting around for a month or so. I've had this issue since before I put the older gas in to the car so that can be disregarded.
Here is an isolated occurrence. You can see the fuel cut in yellow:
And here's another occurrence, where I encountered fuel cut, backed off, then induced fuel cut a second time and held WOT to see if I could glean any extra information out of the logs:
Has anybody encountered something like this before? Fuel cut below 319 load that doesn't respond to the fuelcut X2 patch?
Any ideas at all?
