Thanks guys. I'm new into the tuning section and unfortunately life events and bad friends have placed me in this situation. I don't want to get into all of that mess here. I appreciate all the help and patience. I'm doing all the reading I can do at this moment on everything I can find in this section. One day I hope that I can happily re-purchase an Evo.

I'm in a situation where I need to get my VIII MR ready to sell. My friend has a stock IX flash and one with mods that I will be returning my VIII back to. My questions are:


Will it be okay if I flash this IX's points to the VIII's? (I bring this up, because I know that the IX has MIVEC.)

Will I need to clear any tables because of the direct injection setup I had?


Here is some background information on the two cars if its helpful as well. Please ask if you guys have any other questions that would help.

His car (IX) previous mods:
electric boost control in his flash, short intake, downpipe.

My previous VIII MR setup:
GSC 252 cams, Direct Injection, fuel injectors, short intake, downpipe, 3.5 intercooler, IX bov, Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller

**I am moving it back to just the intake, downpipe, and possibly the boost controller
