Can I simply fully disable EGR via EcuFlash?
Hey guys I have a Evo IX and have done a few simple things with Ecuflash like updating the ROM version and force passing OBD-II checks to pass emissions. I have been having bad idle issues and recently the CEL code P0401 came up which seems to be a common EGR problem and caused the exact idle issue I am having for a few other people with a Evo IX.
My question is instead of trying to fix my EGR or remove it from my car can I simply change some stuff with EcuFlash and disable it completely with no coldstart / idle issues without adding / removing anything from the engine bay?

Sorry I wasn't specific about that but when I did anything with Ecuflash was at least 4-5 years ago and the idle issue just came up kinda recently and I will check if any plugs came off but just in case there are none I heard someone else had to replace his EGR to fix the same issue as me(not sure if this is true) so wondering if it's as easy as turning it off in Ecuflash without adding or removing anything physical in the engine bay to stop any issues with it.
