Who wants to read my ROM?

Hey guys I just figured out how to read my ROM and look at it. I know the basics of what I am looking at but I would really appreciate it if someone who knew what they were looking at could tell me. I want to know if my tune is safe the way it is and if anything looks fishy or unhealthy to the car. Also I want to know exactly which tables to edit so that I can adjust my timing to get a choppy idle with the cams that I have. Thanks in advance and hope to get some feedback soon. I hope that I attached my file correctly

Post a pic of your timing table, and a list of your mods, and you will get some more traction. Really what is needed though are logs. What I would do if I was you is: Grab a copy of your stock ROM ID and start comparing it against your current tune. You wanna make sure that your safety settings haven't been messed with or disabled. Specifically, the load limit fuel cut should be set to something reasonable, and the knock sensitivity should be stock or really close to it. Unless you are using a higher octane fuel, high load ignition timing should be stock or less.

I would strongly recommend you check out merlins tuning guide if you haven't already. It does a good job covering all the basics.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to tune the car to have a lopey idle. I run S2's and they just lope nicely all on their own. I'm sure you could do some searching around the site and come up with some tricks though.

As far as logs go, you want to get RPM, TPS, MAP, Knock sum, AFR (wideband), Ignition timing, Injector pulse width / duty cycle, and wastegate duty cycle. With WOT logs containing that info, folks could start evaluating the safety of your tune etc.

P.S. Just to reiterate, posting pics of your tables will get you more feedback than just posting the rom. With pics anyone can help, the rom file requires that someone has a good XML of your ROM ID to even get a good look at it.

Also you need to find a better 88590715 XML because it looks like yours is empty. Check the official Tephra V7 thread and see if phenom posted one there.

272's should lope, I know tuners can use mivec to smooth it out. Perhaps you just need to undo that to get the lope you want. Try flipping to the mivec part of that tuning guide I linked. The timing map I was talking about was the tephra big ignition timing map. However, the E85 really complicates the whole thing and makes it pretty hard to evaluate without logs.

there are some rules about not posting vendor maps...or something...i can't really recall the details but you might wanna make sure you aren't breaking any if you do post up your maps.

So I tried to find literature on Evom about posting my maps and I couldn't find anything. I'm sure that I didn't look in the right spot but nevertheless. I am going to post the picture again because I need help... if its against rules and someone lets me know ill gladly take it down I don't want to lose my privilege's here. I have no idea who tuned it anyways so I'm not putting someone on blast.

I went ahead and opened up your Rom and took a look at your ignition timing table. It looks to me like too much advance. If I was you, I would retune this. I'm not sure where you got your XML from but you should try removing it and using the one phenom posted here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ispreloading=1 and see if it helps.
