Let's see those IX fuel maps...
I've been spending quite a bit of time lately with my wideband trying to perfect my fuel curve (targeting 11.2 across the board at WOT) and I think I've finally got the table values that achieve this.
For all you Evo IX out there, I was curious what your fuel tables look like and the actual AFR you're hitting with those map values. How about posting some screen shots of your fuel tables and the corresponding actual AFR's you're seeing in your widebands? Don't forget to specify the range that you have lean-spool enabled, if at all.
Thanks in advance.

22psi spike on 93 i run 11 flat up to 6500rpm and the it even goes richer to a flat 10.8 up to the rev limiter at 7800rpm...
Today with 110 degrees intake temps i got 303whp (Dyno Dynamics)... Probably if i get it to around 11.5 i could see even higher, however today it wasnt the day...

during spool up I like 12.5, 12.0 then peak boost 11.5 and hold that to redline, it's a personal preference.
the stock tune is rediculously conservative, this is why many of my customers report much better gas mileage after I'm done tuning them provided that they don't change their driving habbits.

Wow you run your car pretty lean... i dont say its not safe but definitely its leaner than many of the setups i have seen....do you run this on 93 octane i assume...

Posting a fuel map means nothing unless you post the corresponding AFR that you are hitting. This is because some people like me are running on re-sacled stock injectors. I have my set @ 472 instead of 513 since my fuel trims were going rich. I had to re-set my fuel map based on the 472 setting.
Here is my fuel map
And here is the AFR. Two back to back logs in 4th gear. I get the same AFR in 3rd and 4th gear.

These afrs were how my previous tuner tuned the car. No complaints the car made power but i can clearly see around 10whp more if i "lean" out the car a little bit...
10.8s in the upper power band its for those with like highway runs and keep the car on WOT for long periods of time...
i believe that with my driving habits the car even with high 11s would be safe as the only extended WOTs it sees is at the drag strip where again the car never accelerates for more than 12 seconds...
when i have time and the weather becomes cooler i will have another dyno session by myself or with a tuner to maximize the car's capabilities...

I've seen pistons melt at mid 10's AFR's. I've also done extended highway pulls in a long geared boosted car running mid 12 AFR. Extra fuel doesn't keep the combustion chamber cool and I have pictures of pistons to prove it.
