Pin for ecu clutch position sensor

hello I believe that PIN 43 is used for the clutch position sensor. I own a 3rd generation eclipse and run dual ecu's, one of which is a flashable evo8 ecu. Since I am automatic I am trying to simulate a clutch position sensor so I can use launch control with my high stall converter. the problem I have ran into is that I tried grounding that pin to see maybe if I could toggle a ground into it to activate my launch control and I received no success. Does anyone know what that reads? is it just a 12v power that is removed when clutch is activated or is 12v pushed into it when clutch is pressed. I was just scared to fry my ecu.

im wondering the samething as you.....i been searching here for hours and i figured out that in order for the launch control to work it needs the signal from the vehicle speed sensor!!!!.....so can we do this??

and far as how the pin works? u got me cause i was doing something simular. i wasnt getting a reading 12 or ground clutch in or out on that pin.

the clucth saftey switch is wierd too....its a constant ground pedal out....it kills the ground to one side when pressed in. Its usually the other way around.

o maybe then since its speed sensor,we just have to put the value in and the when the car is running the stationary limiter should disable itself!!
