I've been running them cranked up since I posted about it originally. Nothing bad has happened, no misses and the plugs seem to be lasting longer.

thats good to here. so do you know what each tables are for? this is really useful for people on e85 that are still using stock coils and are having misfires.

I have only been adjusting the first one. I think one is on time and the next is off time. In table one upping the values from the 12v to 16v to match the lower voltages seems to make the biggest difference. I will post what I mean in a sec.

Bump 12.89 to 16.42 up till 12.89 matches the 11.72 voltage with the value 69. All I have done to run .020 and 38psi. The last 2 tables are left completely alone, just the first one.

Dont increase gap as there is no point. 0.020 and dwell cranked makes NO power difference between larger gap and no misfires. Maybe emissions and possibly a little mileage, but nothing really else happens other than the tendency to cause drastic issues on big misfires in a high strung car.

ok. i won't increase the gap then. and if you have been running this in your car since 2009 then the coils seems to be holding up fine. i do wonder if the stock coils will handle this.

Guys,

I was on the hunt for a table in EvoX and I think its related to dwell:

This table results in MUT2D being filled out - which apparently the CT9A tables do as well - so I have to assume its related.

Anyways what does everyone think?

I cant remember exactly, but does CT9A only have 2 coils vs 4 for CZ4A? How would that affect dwell?

Your dwell values would be roughly half of the CT9A, this is very interesting. The 3 axis is msec?

actually that table isn't raw, the ECU SHLL4 (ie *16) so I did the scaling that way.

So those values in raw would be all /16

So was I right about the COP situation in CZ4a (ie 4 vs 2 on CT9A)?

Yep, 2x COP, 2x lead.

ok.

so having 2 plugs running off 1 coil - does that change dwell for that coil?

I wouldn't have though so, I would have thought that the coil is just pulsed twice as often.

btw this is really awesome:

ps - 90550001 is in the works..
