I frequent K-town all the time.

Hi!

...another Evo owner going to Deutchsland next summer

Dunno where exactly I'm going (probably Hohenfels), but my new Evo is comming with me.

BTW, and for autobahn purposes, I just removed the annoying 155 mph speed limiter.

I was stationed in Germany for 5 years. Kutsujuracing.com has a chapter at ramstein AFB. These guys know locals who go to Nurerburgring (spelling) and some other spots. Get your car modded and tuned in the states. Euro is way stronger then the $$$$. You have to worry about shipping to a APO/FPO address also. You can import cars from Japan to Germany. R32 skylines 5-6 grand. Pay Motorex 16 grand for import charges to make it legal and you have RB26Dett AWD monster (Godzilla) and you still saved 10-15 grand from what motorex charges. I would sell the evo before you go Germany. You could get a JDM Evo cheaper but it would be hard to bring back to the US. I imported a soarer (SC 300 Lexus 1JZ Twin Turbo) and Honda Integra Type R while I was stationed there. Had I found out how to import to Germany earlier I would have brought back a GTR. But I got my evo and you know a highly tuned EVO can break off a highly tuned GTR any day. Charges for importing a car as a military member stationed in Germany from Japan. Shipping cost from Japan plus $12.50 (twelve dollars and 50 cents). Sorry so long.

Hey there again....I'm stationed at Spangdahlem and there are NO evo's in this area at all....I've been here since september and haven't seen crap....the only cool place to go and see actual cars is the Ring....which is the hotness....anyways maybe if we can get a couple more people we can actually get a centralized meet or something....maybe at hooters in Neunkirchen

I was stationed in Germany from 82-85, stayed until 87 as a civilian. All in Augsburg, near Munich(was 13E fire direction specialist-field artillery). there is Nurenburgring, and a more accesable track is the A1 ring in Austria. that was a fun track. I have gear head German friends I am still in contact with, and can relay their info, so you can hook up with them when you get over there. Thanks guys for serving our Country!

I'll be coming that direction this summer also. I'm tired of hearing all the hype about EUROs being the big dogs when we all know that the 4G63 is the king of the jungle.
