VILSECK, GERMANY..My home for 3 years
just wanted to say hi to everyone in bavaria. i got here a few weeks ago with my black evo 8. been driving around a little bit, but staying close to vilseck-amburg area. hopefully we'll see ya'll around

I spent 5 years in Vilseck. Well, 9 months in Kosovo, year in Iraq, plus a million CMTC (Hohenfels, you'll LOVE it!) rotations, and several field problems. So, actually only spent a month in Vilseck...lol
Anyway, if you don't mind being in the middle of nowhere, you'll like it. I missed the city life personally. Wifey hated it when we were there, but now she misses it. Take advantage of travelling! You'll love the "fests".
Wish I had my Evo back then. Those roads are the best in the world! Enjoy and be safe!

Ahh yes I was going to say the same thing, if your into driving you are in the right place, even putzing around on the cobblestones would be awesome in an evo, and them bmw guys really won't know what to expect, I spent three years over there in Bamberg, beautiful, travel whenever you can... enjoy it while you can cuz you will miss it when you leave.

I use to live there when I was a young lad as my father was stationed there. Enjoy Bavaria and take a run on the autobahn with your camcorder for us to see.

thanks ya'll for reading my post. i've had alot of fun here so far. got the car on the autobahn already, only took it to 150, not sure what my tires are rated. as soon as i get some new tires, ill get the video on here at 160+. my wife has posted some pics on my webpage:

there are some folders for germany, our apt, amburg, and vilseck. really nice here. cant wait to get some new tires and push the evo to the max.

Wecome, I'm a long ways away but I've been to the Vilseck/Graf area a couple times. Not the happiest place in all of Germany but theres much worse places. Enjoy and you better not leave without one trip to the Ring. Its like a right of passage.

Guten Tag!! Welcome to Germany.. Been here since Jan 06.. Have gone to a few tracks around here already with the Evo.. I'm in Stuttgart area.. Not to far from ya.. Give a PM .. im jealous of you guys going to the 'Ring with your Evo's! I was at the Ring in July and got to ride along in the BMW Ring Taxi M5, but I would have loved a ride in an Evo..or even drive one

What's up bro! I'm here at Ft. Hood now enjoying 'da Dirty and meeting the fellahs. I do hope that you all are doing well over there. 150 huh? Dang. How in the world are you going to video the 160 pull? I know that your wife is not going to ride beside you on the GSXR, is she?
