Thanks Jon. How's the T1R exhaust for someone who's looking for a performance exhaust that isn't freakin loud? It is touted as quiet as stock when cruising with a bit more growl.

i think there are 2 great options
the T1R or the MXP. i have installed/ Tuned both and i like them. neither is that loud

I think im gonna make some "grapefruit shooter deletes"
IE: Remove the huge tip and weld on regular pipe for the "stealth" factor, who knows..

Ya know.... I'm not really sure how much more upgrading the pill will do. I'd guess that you're near the max flow of the stock turbo.

Hmm.... what was the difference in mass flow rate? I'd gather that you added a fair amount more timing and maybe leaned it out a bit.

I'd love to see what the new Garrett turbos will do on pump though!

The Maf rate went up quite a bit ( yea i logged it)
The AFR was leaned out .5 afr and added 2-3 degrees.
I wasn't pushing it to the limit.

Ive had a gt30R on my car... it was great, spooled so fast i could surge it if i so chose to. had a leaky oil feed so i removed it. Ill have another soon.....

It was fun 22 psi was over 380 on pump (ca pisswater 91) very safely

I've logged 286 g/sec @ 7500rpm @ 16.3 psi and 191 load with the stock boost system maxed out.

Then with upgrading the boost assembly I've logged 302 g/sec at 7500rpm @ 18.3psi and 203 load

So yes indeed it is flowing more.

The Garrett drop-in 3071 and 3076 should be out sometime around spring

I was just thinking with the upgraded actuator, the stock boost setup would be able to max out the stock turbo. I guess not!

Razorlab, stick a LVDT on the actuator to see when it's moving

You guys are so lucky when it comes to that. There's quite a few of them.

But was this ECUflash or AP?

It looks like it was Cobb AP Protuned by none other than Jon himself.

Great, now I have to look around the house to see what I can sell to fund this addiction.
