awesome car, but my wallet can't hang 52k for mods.

Pistins, I am looking to make 450 hp dd, but I'm afraid the stock turbo will not be able to keep up, so I'm sure I'd have to go with the 35r turbo upgrade to make the desired hp. I plan on getting the wiseco pistons and eagle forged rods for starts, and arp headstuds and looking into springs as well. That should be more than enough for a decent internal upgrade. am i wrong?

I haven't done my full research on building the motor to be honest, but u should also look into upgrading the bearings as they tend to be the weakest link form what i have heard and some arp rod bolts. I think the 35r is a lil laggy for a dd to be honest, u should read abot the bbk, tomei, and fp turbos, they seem to be a great upgrade for that kind of power. gl

hope some of these links will help u:

I am asking this question cuz I am trying to understand whether I could possibly have all the bolt ons (intake, tbe, headers, cams/cam gears, injectors, tune) and run @ 24psi but with a bigger turbo (say the 35r or so). would that setup be safer on the engine than running the big 16g @ lets say 28psi to possibly achieve the power?

I am trying to plan the safest setup possible, I am still considering a factor of failure in their simply because something in the drivetrain might not be able to handle that much power.
ur thoughts are greatly appreciated guys. Thanks!
My car feels even more reliable with my new HTA GT35 turbo kit from AMS. I'm pushing 430 horses at 24psi with GSC S2 cams. If have any questions PM me, but if you want to hit those numbers with no problem try my setup running on E85. You'll probably push about 500 or more.
