Yeah it did didnt it??

It is still unclear to me which one is actually the larger turbo. They are the same size compressor wheel correct? Both are billet wheels and use a Garrett turbine wheel and housing right???

Didnt 9sec9 use both turbo's at one time on his machine. And the 86 did outpower the FS635. I was at a loss choosing between the 2 when I bought Davids old Kit. I didnt know wether I wanted his HTA3582 and turn it into the HTA86 or just go for the FS635.

I chose the FS635 , I guess I will see how it works out for me upon completion

Brian, the only reason I didn't bother with the meth kit was I swore you said you wanted to take it off and sell it!

I had thought about it, and then my dad reminded me I have 45 gallons of it chilling in the barn. lol

Oh well, I like the thought of having a pump only map this year, I want a 9 second pass on only 93! So if we add the meth this time, it can be for a few special people I know that think they can get me on a certain closed course

Thank you for the update on the mileage too, 14,000 miles is a lot of miles in one year.

Guys, that's 14,000 miles, running 30 psi, 500+ whp tune all day, everyday. Driving to and from the track, making over 50 runs down the track, race gas tune at 600+ and running 9's on race gas, 10.3's on pump gas. That is pretty impressive if you ask me.

I think the entire year you had what, the clip pop off the throw out bearing and one turbo fail, right?

This engine has also been run completely out of oil once on the highway.

Oil run out, clip pop off, blown turbo, and then the minor incident with the water pump freeze plug. Still not sure what that was all about. So with the abuse that this car has been put through, it has proved to be rediculously stout!

My goals are 9s on pump and 9.5 on race.

Dave, what kind of numbers were you at on pump when you went 9s?

I don't remember for sure where my car when it went 9.77. About the same as yours I believe.

Yes, it is a long time before we can race again. We've been done here since October and the tracks don't open until April......................it sucks.

cool, I just need to get a little more weight out of it once i get it back. I already ave a couple things plan to get at least 50 pounds out of it. Should put it under 3k with me in it. One of those includes trying to drop about 15 pounds off my fat ***. I need to get down to Trents skinny *** weight. lol

Mike, I think were all moving in for a couple months! lol
