I just put the magnaflow on my car (maxed IX turbo so nowhere near the same power) and it doesn't seem to have hurt power at all. Just posted a review, check it out.

Hey David do you happen to know the dimensions of the that little muffler you added? Is it 4in in diameter? Curious as to what the length is also. Really looking for something I can fit on my midpipe that would lower a couple decibels likes you said. You can PM me also, pricing would be nice too. Thank you

 

If its our exhaust it will fit in the mid pipe. I'd guess it's about 4.5" round and 18" long body. Just the SD muffler is $80 but that requires you doing the cutting/welding to install it.

 

Is that $80 shipped? How soon would you have them? Would like to get one soon.

 

Hey Dave,were you able to to take a picture or make a comparison video of the SD muffler on your car yet?

 

We have the SD mufflers in stock, $80 plus shipping. That is for the muffler only in slip fit form. We have clamps to use with them, SS band clamps. If you have a 3" exhaust it can be welded in, clamped in.........whatever.

The picture of the muffler is in the first post. I did not take pics of it on my car, it's nearly impossible to see because it is so small in diameter. I have not done a video of the sound, it's pretty useless to be honest. I don't think I've seen a video yet that has reflected what an exhaust sound really sounds like, I'm going to skip doing that.

 

Would there be clearance to have a Bullet muffler in the mid pipe right after the test pipe to run with an SD muffler in the rear under the JDM bumper? That would be my preferred setup.

 

The bullet muffler goes where the offroad pipe is and it fits there with no problem, but not behind the offroad pipe.

 

You would replace the test pipe with a Bullet muffler "test pipe". No clearance issues. MANY have done this. The SD WILL fit in the rear of the car with the JDM bumper.

In that case you would move the 02 sensor to the catback tube. That is how all of our systems come.

No I don't have your exhaust. So which pieces on the website should I order to complete this system. I see you have the SD rear section with tip and the Bullet to replace the test pipe. How do I get a catback tube?

 

No you wont need to lengthen the wires.
