2.3l gt4088r

Here is the current setup.

Eagle crank
Manley rods
Wiseco pstons
ACL Race bearings
ARP 11mm head studs
ARP Main studs
Kelford 280 cams
supertech valve springs
supertech valves 1mm oversize, inconel exhaust valves
cometic headgasket
Precison 1000cc injectors
AEM EMS with air intake sensor and 3.5 bar map sensor
GT4088R turbo
Custom top mount divided T4 manifold
RNR fmic core
Custom lower intercooler pipe
Buschur upper intercooler pipe
Tial 44mm vband wastegate
Tial BOV
I was having some ignition problems on the dyno, so I was only able to turn the boost up to 17psi. The motor was built and tuned by Ron at RS motors in burnsville MN. I should have some new numbers within the next couple weeks when I get my COP setup. On this graph the solid lines are my old stock 8 turbo at 24psi

^Any reason why you went with a 2.3l instead of sticking with a built 2.0?

Ya thats what im going for. Im still using my stock transmission and t case, they both have 85k on them, I have a ACT hdss clutch in there with the stock flywheel. I am going to see what power I can put down with that stuff and then buy a twin disc and send my tcase and trans out to shep.

why get a 40r? especially if your lacking the fuel? you would have made alot more power with a smaller turbo like a 35r, and would have ALOT better spool

however the top mount 40r looks MEANNN

If your going e85 you better get some serious injector. 2200's at least, the fuel requirements for e85 on that turbo are insane.

Also I would try dialing the cams back with gears to gain some spool up, then rev that ***** up to 8500.
