Smile 9.8 Stock VIII turbo + E85 =

Sold my green last fall and for now i'm running the tiniest stock Evo VIII turbo (9.8 ) on E85. And here's what i squeezed out of her on RS Motors Mustang dyno last night

Found out that my Zeitronix WB is almost 1 full point off.. which sucks for multiple reasons, first i was running 11-10.8 instead of flat 12's that i need, so i adjusted that while on the dyno. But also i run the Zeitronix NB output instead of my stock O2 sensor.. So that explains why my mileage has been worse lately...

Boost falls miserably from peak of ~27 (~29 on my JDM MAP log) with this tiny snail Smile) E85 or not, can't make much top end with 19psi It does move over 1900hz of airflow, but its too inefficient for this much..

This is on MN winter blend of E85 that has 70% ethanol.

Here's the list:
Stock 9.8 VIII turbo
Stock block, head, TB, manifolds.
HKS 280 cams
Ebay cone intake (same thing as Buschur or GST) on stock rubber intake pipe
Injen UICP and Nisei LICP and Ebay XS Power Intercooler
1000 TTP injectors
Ebay O2 (same thing as megan, titek, etc)
Buschur TBE with test pipe
Boost controlled with ECU and GM 3-port BCS with JDM MAP sensor
Tuned by me.

This sheet also proves that my butt dyno is accurate within 3% I though it was making 350whp. Its 342whp/362wtq

haha nice, looks alot like my dyno sheet on e85 and the stocker.. the AFR barely moves from closed to open loop . MY 10.5 turbo holds 20 up top with a 30psi spike, good times
I actually run a bit leaner then you do, but you have the leaner AFR's to come with the next few months

This was/is good to see as I've entertained this route for a while until I decide which route I want to settle on. I'm currently running 301whp/305wtq with the following mods: 26PSI, GSC S1 272s, Injen UICP/LICP/CAI, APS TBE with test pipe, stock FMIC, Forge MBC, Forge RS BOV, stock VIII turbo with 9.8, stock O2, and stock manifold. If I were to slap some 880cc injectors and get another street tune, is gaining another 35wph/30wtq possible? Thoughts?

I'd go bigger than the 880's. It's really your choice though. 880 is enough for now but if you change the turbo or anything you will need larger anyhow.

I understand and it is always better to have more on the table than using everything all at once.
