Will i Hit 500whp on 93 ?!?!
hey guys
i have been reading up and i see alot of people are running 500 whp+ but witht he use of meth and race gas. my question is will my car be able to hit 500 whp on just 93 pump ?
My mods:
Built 2.0
.020 bore
CP pistons
Eagle Rods
Hks 272's
Supertech spring and retainers
Arp Head studs
AMS GT 35r kit
AMS FMIC
AMS piping
AEM EMS with boost solonoid and crank sensor
Exedy triple disk ceramic clutch with light weight fly wheel
Walbro 255
PTE 1000cc injecotrs
Tial 44 wastegate
3' Fujitsubo exhaust CAT-LESS
Recirculated dump pipe
i want to see as close to 500 whp ONLY ON 93 NO USE OF RACE GAS NO METH.

I see 3 possible things wrong with your setup. I think you need to change the cams and possible more fuel. I would suggest running Kelford 272's in order to really get that HP out of the car. I would suggest maybe 1200cc and double pumper and your good. Most tuners would say the same to be on the safe side. Oh and last thing is to go with a ported intake and TB. But all in all your setup seems pretty solid. Do some more research on cams, fuel requirements, and the TB and intake mani.
i am going to get tuned by BIG AL at ICS i have read up on him have asked pplk tuned by him and they say alot of good things also he is the closest person to me for tuning.
also i have heard about kelfords 272's alot of things good about them see ot me 272's are 272's but idk

like i said i want to try to get as close to 500 whp on just 93 which id ont see why not even if its 475 i think those are amazing numbers and down the road if i have to i will do POrted IM and TB and see where that takes me

ya iw as thinking of sending out the IM to get ported out but i dont have the time right now. i might pick up a TB in a week or 2. also i would think 1 FP is plenty but then again i have heard that double pumpers are needed.

I think your missing the point on the cams. If you check the specs of the HKS 272's vs the Kelford 272 you then realize that these cams are more suited for high hp output especially on very mild cams. If money is not an issue then you can take the time to do it right. My car currently has a Dynoflash tune and I know he would tell me to install bigger cams and a double pumper. For example I have HKS cams running on stock turbo and it's fun. But since ordering the FP red I'm installing Kelfords, bigger injectors, IM, and TB. I know my pump numbers will be high. Not 35R high but nice and hig for a red. Just as a suggestion PM Al and see what he says about those potential parts. I'm pretty sure Al and George from ICS would be willing to work with you on such a request.
