Is 35psi and 500whp+ considered safe on stock engines or did i misunderstand your original post.

BTW: Very impressive result, little concerned its on a stock engine and how long it will last with those numbers though.

We have tuned 575whp and 581wtq on the stock motor already boosting as high as 43.6psi.

Our decision was made on this vehicle to limit boost to 35psi not based on octane or boost, but factory tolerances of a stock motor which are not designed for this level of cylinder pressures.

That was a scary pull.

I'd be curious to see what it would do with 93 octane.

How come other shops do not get this much power/ run this amount of boost on stock block. Also was of tuned with zero knock and if not how much knock did it have. Could you give us more info on the tune and about the car.

Man you need to change the thread to "TTP Tuned 05 GSR 509whp on C16/Race Gas" your title is a bit misleading! I was like WOW how did he acheive that high HP on 93 without Meth. Of course you don't ever need meth with race gas, so I'm not sure why the meth was even in the description. Congrats though!! Sorry if i came across negative. After reading the other posts, that's a wopping lot of boost! I was running 548 WHP on 93 and meth 30psi of boost. I've never had race gas in it I can imagine it would be bad a$$. I haven't been tuned since 2007 there have been alot of changes. Good Luck happy for you guy's!!!
