557WHP 458WTQ@32PSI /GT35r/stock block/e85

Three weeks ago I took my car to Machines Gone Wild (MGW) to get tuned so, we straped the car on the dyno and lance began tuning, the car made decent power but we had to stop at 480 whp & 395 wtq @25 psi due to the single walbro was giving up. so I wasn't happy with the (whp) the car was making. I had no choice than to order a fullblown kit with a fuel pressure regulartor, since my car runs e85 I decide to go with -8 feed and -6 return . today I took the car back to the dyno and it finally made what I wanted 557whp 458wtq @ 32 psi /stock motor/gt35r/e85 tuned by lance on stock ecu below is the dyno graph all of this was done thanks to juanito, greg at machines gone wild and lance for the tuning.

Great power man!

Let me ask you this however. What are your expectations in terms or reliability from running such ugh power numbers on the stock block? I keep seeing guys really pushing the envelope in terms of power. I don't think my heart could take it!

Anyways, enjoy the car and we should definitely see some track results!

I know 557 whp is a little too much power on the stock block but since this is not my dd I decided to push it that far. IMO the reliabily of my car depends the abuse you throw at it. I change the oil/filter every 1k also just to have a little more peace of mind i added some arp rod bolts but the car feels awsome.

My car took mid 500 DJ hp all of last year witouth a problem on the stock block with just ARP headstuds done the 1x1 method. My car is at BR right now cause I didnt think it would last forever at the power level but it did for a year plus.

Aslong as theres no knock I think it will last a long time.

Knock and too much timing in the absence of knock are what kill motors. Good power man, what 35R is this a HTA I am thinking?

Do you mind giving us more info on your set up? Also what size exhaust housing are you running?

Mid 500hp is definitly fun power on the street, your block should be fine. Got 85,000 on mine
