HTA 3582 .63 hotside TurboTrix tuned

Long story short I bought a used turbo off here and the seller advertised it as a HTA 3582 with a .63 hotside.

After some further investigation it appears to be a HTA compressor wheel but the inlet shroud seems to be a few mm's smaller than a true HTA 3582. I'm not sure what happened but decided to tune it anyway.

My car has the following for engine mods:

Stock block
AEM EMS
Comp 280 cams
Arp headstuds
Manley valve springs and retainers
Full-Race style manifold ceramic coated
2.5" o2 housing
4" Intake
44mm tial wastegate
Tial bov
Buschur 4" intercooler
SMC Meth

On 27 psi, the car put down 480whp and 411 tq

Marc didn't want to push the limits on this setup until I placed some forged internals into the block so he didn't exceed 27 psi. I agreed and I'll most likely be doing some drop in's and retune with some more boost.

On the street AFRs are around 11.6-11.8

The car hauls *** and is the quickest car I've owned to date.

Thanks TURBOTRIX for the tune and thanks EXTREMEPSI for all the parts and fittings I needed to put this together.

Heres a pic of the engine bay:

Heres the graph:

Oh boy, you don't waste any time.

You have the car for less than a month and you go big turbo already .

Of course. It was hooked up with some supporting mods by someone who knew what they were doing.

Btw, I was at a meet tonight and saw a pristine supra with a big turbo on it. Hows that working out for ya?

Doing a lot more research and it looks like I have a HTA 3076 on my hands....

I can't decide if I should be happy with the power I'm making or go bigger .

I guess I'll stick with this setup until something on the street lays the smackdown on me.

upgrade your internals so you can rev higher and run more boost safely + .82 hotside + twin fuel pump + AEM EMS + Race gas and it will give you ~100whp more
but for now enjoy it. Im just 3whp up from you and smoking cobras all day long. pm me if you want to see the videos.lol
