TTP Tunes Josh's FP EvoRed 80mm, coil on plug ignition 424whp!

Josh like many others have grown accustomed to limited performance the stock turbo has to offer. Coming from a high performance VW/Audi background, he was no stranger to performance. Soon after the purchase of his 2004 Evo VIII SSL he grew tired of the stock turbo's limitations and wanted more.

Much like some of the other customers we have built and tuned this week, Josh opted for the EvoRed with the 80mm inlet and anti surge cover. With more air comes the need for more fuel. In Josh's case we installed 720cc Denso injectors to supply the fuel and cooling for the cylinders. Josh also had a coil on plug ignition system.

Here are the results of the tuning. Josh's car had an AMS knockoff ebay FMIC so he was only able to achieve about 25-26psi peak on Kelford 272 camshafts. We believe there may have been more room to work with a more efficient FMIC.

In the end he ended up with 424whp on pumpgas 93 only:

Clean Evo. Love the wheels and I've been considering the Kelford 272's myself. Thanks for the post up.
