Highest I have seen with stock turbo, on E85, with stock cams, be it a Evo 9 or Evo 8, is 385whp so far on our dyno.

My worry too... BBK or not to BBK lol

My thinking is that these turbos with good low-end and midirange torque, such as the stocker running e85 and high boost, would kill a clutch quicker too but idk.

Some are, I for one am not. There have been lots of people in the 400+ hp range on stock clutch that lasted for awhile and even some guys launch them at the track and they last. Then you have the guys that are pushing 350ish and they burn them up. It really all depends but I think anything on 400 with an aggressive driver is to much.

Depends on your power level but I would get a clutch first because you may have to get it anyway. If you plan on upgrading in the future a good clutch is a good investment. Do you have any in mind? I'm a huge fan of Exedy. I love mine but some tend to have loud clutch chatter.

I personally, not knocking CBRD, but I like Forced Performance products better. It really depends on the setup you are looking for and what you use your car for. For example, I feel that the BBK Full is a great pump gas turbo but if you plan to go Meth, E85, or race gas and keep your spool low, I would go with the HTAGreen. The new HTAGreen seems to be a sick little turbo. But lets not turn this into CBRD vs. FP because there are to many of those threads already.

You are correct that small turbos with good low-end and mid-range torque are much more harsh on the stock clutch. The fast torque spike on 400+ stock turbos have the penential to make the stock clutch slip.

Just purchased the Magnus V5 from TTP for 725 shipped with stock TB plate with both head and TB gasket. Should be putting on my car towards the end of the month along with my R/TErnie 3in external dump 02 housing. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers I can get
