I'm just curious...... I'm sure some power was left on the table before the cams but how much do you feel the Kelfords are worth on the stock turbo and pump gas?

So these are the kelford 272's for the Mivec engine? I know they are all the rage for the Evo 8 engines, but haven't seen many use them in a 9 yet.

Yup ... Mivec Kelford's ... and they are the new casting to eliminate the snapping that you may have seen on some other threads.

I wish there was a tuned before and tuned after mivec cams only dyno I could look at.

Using this would would be a stretch because it was only self tuned before.

She was tuned by CBRD before the cams(and their dyno read ~30WHP higher than STM's), however STM also fixed a few Boost leaks along with the cams, so I'm not sure how much of the 50WHP gain was from the new throttle body seal and lower injector seals and how much was from the cams themselves. I would guess about 30WHP from the cams and 20WHP from the boost leaks and the tune itself.

car looked familiar

what were the temps?

curious in the dyno disparity...

the chart i have is 302whp/289wtq at 23.8 psi in 60 degree temps 30% humidity! if it was in the 80's and higher or similar humidity, i would expect the 20whp difference and about 10wtq!!

cheers
